ATG Europe 50 year in business- Celebration at the European Space and Technology Center
Last Thursday, we have celebrated our 50 year anniversary at ESA/ESTEC. It has not only been a great occasion to meet up with our clients, partners and employees in the renowned Eramus center of ESTEC, but we have also had the opportunity to learn more from our guest speaker, Francesco Sauro (Geologist) on how astronauts can reuse geological knowledge in the space environment, in particular when visiting other planets, such as Mars, or returning to the Moon.
The event was moderated by Sarah Cruddas (Space Journalist) who has also coordinated the panel discussion among entrepreneurs in the Space sector (Robert Boehme, PTScientists; Jeroen Rotteveel, ISIS; Michiel Vullings, ATG Europe) and representatives of European Space Agency (Francesco Liucci, ESA, Gaele Winters , Noordwijk Space Campus, Former ESA Director). Thoughts of the participants have been shared on how we can enter into the next Space era as a unified force in order to create the next big step after going to the Moon.
Our colleague, Thijs Papenhuijzen has presented ATG Europe’s patented technology of composite grid structure (learn more at [ https://www.atg-europe.com/solutions/composites/ ] ) and this event has also given the occasion to present our new company video which will be also showcased on our website.
We would like to give a big thank you to organizing committee to deliver such a great event as well as to all presenter and participants to share this evening with us to celebrate 50 years of ATG Europe.
Looking forward to the next 50!
